The Cohorts tab shows a blocked overlay until your clearance is approved. If the tab is locked, go to My Dashboard → Profile Details → Clearance Tasks and complete any outstanding items first.
Enrolling in a cohort
If your instructor sent you an enrollment code:1
Open the Cohorts tab
Click the Cohorts tab in your Field Experience dashboard.

Click 'Enroll in Cohort'
The Enroll in Cohort button is in the top right header.

Enter the code
The Enroll in a Cohort modal opens. Type the Enrollment Code your instructor gave you and click Enroll.
Your learning contract
At the top of the Cohorts tab is your Learning Contract card — a per-cohort agreement that defines your goals, expectations, and signature plan for the term. Its state changes as you progress:
You’ll usually complete the learning contract within the first 1–2 weeks of a new cohort.
Inside a cohort
Click a cohort card to open it. Your tasks are organized into three columns:
Most tasks will be evaluation forms or hour-log reviews assigned by your faculty supervisor.
Upcoming tasks panel
At the top of the Cohorts tab, the Upcoming tasks panel aggregates pending work across all your cohorts in one view. This is the fastest way to see what needs your attention without clicking into each cohort individually. Items due within 3 days display an urgency flag — check this panel regularly so nothing sneaks up on you.Completing an assigned form

Click the form
From the To Do column (or the Upcoming tasks panel), click a form to open it.

Fill it out
The form opens in a new tab at
/assigned-forms. Complete every required field — required fields are marked with a red asterisk.3
Save or submit
- Save Draft keeps your progress without submitting
- Submit finalizes the form and notifies whoever needs to review or sign it next
Downloading or printing a form
After a form has a saved or submitted response, its task row shows a top-right Download PDF button. Click Download PDF to open a printable PDF version of the form in a new tab, then use your browser or PDF viewer’s print button.Signing a report
For hour-log reports, your signature is just the first of several. The report typically goes to your site supervisor, then your faculty supervisor, then back to you for final acknowledgement. You’ll see the progression in the report’s status.If a report is waiting on someone else, you can’t speed it up from your end. Check My Dashboard → Profile Details → Timesheet Reports to see what’s outstanding.
