Curriculum Builder lets program admins create, organize, and manage program courses, assessments, and learning outcomes in one place, as a reusable template rather than a one-off class.
This is a program-admin tool. Individual instructors and students won’t see it in their navigation, only accounts with program admin access do.

Finding it

Curriculum Builder has its own section in the sidebar (separate from Simulations and Course Catalog). It opens to these tabs: This page covers the Courses tab.

Building a course

1

Set the course overview

Click Create Course Template to start a new course. Under Course Overview, set the Course Title and a Course Description.
2

Add modules

Under Course Modules, click Add Module (or Create Module from the empty state) to start organizing content. Each module gets:
  • Its own module description
  • A drag handle to reorder it
  • A collapse toggle and a delete (trash) action
3

Add assignments to a module

Click the + inside a module (“Add assignments to this module”) to open the Assignments panel on the right, with Avatar, Quiz, Reading, and Form tabs. From here you can either:
  • Drag in an existing template (search by name), or
  • Click Create Case (on the Avatar tab) to build a new one from scratch
4

Build the case

Create Case opens a case builder similar to creating a class assignment, with these tabs: Avatar (select or build an avatar, Full Case or Focused Scenario), Details, Settings, Assessments, Evaluation, Feedback, and Learning Outcomes. The template builder includes Learning Outcomes; the live class-assignment builder does not show that additional tab.
5

Save the course

Click Create Course (top right) to save the course as a reusable template.
Curriculum Builder is the template workshop. Live classes instructors teach show up in My Courses. Program admins can also review every class in the program from Program Courses.
