# FieldX for Students
> What FieldX is, how to create your account, and a full walkthrough video to get you started.
FieldX (also called Field Experience) is where you manage your practicum or internship: completing clearance, logging hours, tracking your placement sites, and staying on top of assigned forms and reports for your program.
## Creating your account
If you don't have a SimCare account yet:
Visit [app.simcare.ai](https://app.simcare.ai) and click **Create an account**.
Enter your first and last name, your **school email**, and a password, then agree to the terms.
Use your school email address. That's what associates your account with your university and unlocks FieldX.
Since your school uses FieldX, SimCare sends a 6-digit code to your school email before your account is created. Enter the code to finish signing up — you're automatically enrolled in your program.
If more than one program at your school uses the same email domain, you won't be enrolled automatically. The first time you open Field Experience, a **Choose your program** screen lists the matching programs — select yours and click **Continue** to enroll.
